The Gangquestions society in the driving, frenetic rocker "Talking To Myself (To Get By)" which expresses the need for emotional survival amidst soul numbing attitudes. They're Lower East Siders who've cut their teeth on the rock that erupted out of the East Village in the 1980's. Their song "No Secret Safe" is outlaw storytelling at it's best, woven into one of their catchiest melodies and inspired by our pervasive surveillance society. The band recalls their punk rock roots as they pay homage to one of their favorite outlaw artists, Iggy Pop, on their dynamic, upbeat version of "New Values".
